Canisius University presents a screening of the 1998 drama Gods and Monsters on Monday, April 28 at 7 p.m. in Old Main Room 314. A question and answer session with author Christopher Bram, whose novel of the same title inspired the film, will follow the screening. The event is free and open to the public.
Bram will read from his works on Tuesday, April 29 at 7 p.m. in Old Main Room 314.
Bram is the author of nine novels, including Gods and Monsters, which became the basis for the Academy-Award winning movie starring Brendan Fraser and Ian McKellan. His most recent book is a literary history, Eminent Outlaws: The Gay Writers Who Changed America, and he recently published an article in Four Two Nine magazine. Bram currently teaches non-fiction at the Gallatin School of New York University.
