Griff Center for Student Success

Student Health Center
The Student Health Center is committed to improving the health of those we serve by offering quality health services that are individualized, targeted, easy to access, and delivered in a caring, welcoming and respectful manner.
Title IX
Our Title IX Coordinator and reporting process falls under the Higher Education Act which protects members of the community from discrimination on the basis of sex. Confidential reporting is available as well as other campus resources
ALANA Student Center (ASC)
The ALANA Student Center provides African American, Latino/a American, Asian American and Native American (ALANA) students with services to help them succeed at Canisius and after they graduate. We strive to foster respect, for cultural differences and inclusivity.
Counseling Center
The Counseling Center is committed to developing the personal and academic potential of Canisius University Students by providing comprehensive counseling services and outreach education to support the emotional and mental health of our students.

Canisius University Writing Center
The Canisius University Writing Center is a resource for anyone to bring their writing and receive one-on-one peer tutoring. The writing center is staffed with trained Canisius students that are willing to help with any stage of the writing process. Examples of common writing center appointments include: Understanding an assignment, developing a thesis, brainstorming ideas, outlining, assisting with proofreading, analyzing evidence for an argument, working on long projects. Appointments are 30 minutes long and can be made online.
