Buffalo, NY – For the second consecutive year, Canisius University will host WordCamp Buffalo, on Saturday, September 14. The event begins with registration at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 5:00 p.m.
WordCamp Buffalo is a one-day conference organized and designed for WordPress users, including website owners, bloggers, designers and developers. The purpose of the conference is to increase knowledge about WordPress for people who already work with it and to showcase the benefits of WordPress to anyone who may be interested but does not currently work with it.
WordCamp Buffalo is an informal, community-organized conference with information for anyone from new users to core developers. The conference will include a user-centric set of presentations to help bloggers and business owners. There will also be a developer/designer track, which is a more advanced WordPress discussion about theme and plugin development, and best practices for development.
WordPress is a free and open source blogging tool and a content management system, which runs on millions of websites throughout the world.
