BUFFALO, NY - The principal fundraiser for the Canisius University Board of Regents Scholarship Fund proved to be a record success. Nearly 700 guests helped to raise an extraordinary
$159,040 at this year’s sold-out Scholarship Ball, held in May. Proceeds from the event provide financial support to promising young students who otherwise would not be able to take advantage of a Canisius education.
In addition to the generous support of the scholarship fund, Distinguished Citizen honoree Scott Bieler established the Scott Bieler Endowed Scholarship Fund. The scholarship will provide financial support to Canisius students pursuing degrees within the Richard J. Wehle School of Business.
