BUFFALO, NY – The Canisius University Center for Professional Development, 300 Corporate Parkway, Amherst, will offer a Project Management Basics Course on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The course is designed for those new to project management or individuals who want to strengthen their project management skills. The course provides participants with an overview of the essential elements of project management and the project management life cycle. Participants gain an understanding of the techniques and practice of project management, and gain practical experience to achieve successful project performance.
Participants will:
- Gain practical tools and learn techniques and processes of project management
- Plan project work (scope, work breakdown structure, etc.)
- Develop project schedules, cost estimates and budgets
- Execute project work
- Close the project
