Canisius University and global banking giant Citi recently co-hosted “Conversations with the President” at the bank’s regional center in Getzville, NY where more than 1,800 people are employed, including 200 Canisius alumni. The event included a roundtable luncheon discussion with members of the senior leadership teams of Canisius and Citi. The discussion focused on what skills and educational backgrounds Citi is seeking in interns and new employees, as well as furthering the beneficial relationship between the two organizations. Following the roundtable and tour of the expansive facility, President John J. Hurley and Denise Rotondo, PhD, dean of the Wehle School of Business, provided Citi-employed Canisius alumni with updates about the college. The event concluded with a networking reception for all.
