The Quadrangle is the college's student-edited literary and visual arts magazine. It publishes annually in the spring semester works of poetry, fiction and non-fiction prose, photography, artwork, essays, interviews, song lyrics, and short plays.
The Quadrangle was founded in the 1951-1952 academic year, and it was the fourth literary magazine at Canisius. The first moderator was Roger B. Dooley, a former graduate and English professor. It was given the name Quadrangle because of its original quarterly publication and representation of the buildings that formed a quadrangle on the main campus.
