Elizabeth Turner

Elizabeth Turner has returned to her alma mater after spending many years as a teacher in a local charter school in Buffalo, NY. As an early childhood/childhood major she focused her passion in the Kindergarten classroom before exploring other roles in the school and community.  

Since 2013, she has supervised student teachers in addition to teaching as an adjunct faculty member.  Her favorite course to teach has been ECCH 221: Emergent Literacy.  Now, she stays focused on providing Canisius students with the best possible field experiences, overseeing the student teaching semester, and forming partnerships with local schools to ensure Canisius is able to serve others in and out of the classroom.
