Canisius Alumni Among WNY's Top Young Professionals

BUFFALO, NY – A new group of Canisius University alumni has been named to Business First’s annual 40 Under 40 list, continuing a strong tradition of leadership, service and professional excellence among graduates of the university.  The recognition celebrates young professionals who are making a significant impact across Western New York - in their careers and their communities.  

This year’s honorees underscore the broad reach and influence of the Canisius alumni network across industries from education and energy to health care and philanthropy.  The Canisius alumni named to this year’s 40 Under 40 list are: 

•    Ashley Engl ’08, director of technology learning and innovation for Walsh Insurance;
•    Kate Measer ’11, director of public relations; media relations and community engagement practice leader for the Martin Group; 
•    Candice Archibald Miller MBA ’15, fractional executive and consultant at Miller Strategic Advisory Group; 
•    Jonathan Patrick ’09, director of major gifts for the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County; and
•    Chris Pellicano ’09, chief operating officer for Pellicano’s Marketplace.
