BUFFALO, NY − The Canisius University Center for Professional Development, 300 Corporate Parkway, Amherst, will offer SAT & ACT Preparation courses and Undergraduate and Graduate College Application Essay Workshops.
SAT and ACT Prep Courses, led by high-scoring, experienced instructors, offer a strategic-based approach to exam success. Through a comprehensive look at test structure, effective test-taking strategies and a hands-on learning approach, students acquire the skills and aptitudes necessary to master each section of the exam. The four-week long SAT Prep Course will be heldSaturdays, October 6 - 27 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Additional sessions will be held:

- April 6 – 27
- May 4 - 25
The course fee is $595 and includes all materials.
The ACT Preparation Course will be held Saturdays, November 10- December 1 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Additional sessions will be held:
- January 12-26 & February 2
- March 2-23
- May 11-25 & June 1
The ACT Preparation Course is offered as a shortened extension course and can be purchased in conjunction with the SAT preparatory course at a 15% discount, or on its own at the regular rate. The course fee is $395 and includes all materials.
During the Undergraduate and Graduate College Application Essay Workshop, participants will get comprehensive instruction in the fundamentals of a successful college admissions essay, along with an individualized look at personal goals and strengths to produce a highly effective and distinctive admissions essay. The one-day workshop will be held Saturday, October 27 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Additional dates include:
