The latest book by Paul Waldau, PhD, is essential reading for anyone interested the dynamic relationship between humans and animals or the role animals play in society.
Animal Studies – An Introduction is the sixth book for the associate professor of anthrozoology. In it, Waldau explores how humans have treated animals in the past, how they treat them now and future possibilities for human-animal relationships. He examines these issues from educational, ethical, religious, legal and cultural perspectives.
Waldau is the principal faculty member for the master of science program in anthrozoology. He also teaches at Harvard Law School.
