A group of young graduates met recently to kick off the newly created Young Alumni Philanthropy Committee. This special committee highlights young alumni who live out the Jesuit mission of being “men and women for others” and who invest in the college’s future through their annual support. And, this group inspires other recent graduates to give back in support of Canisius Fund 150 so that current and future Griffins can receive the best Canisius has to offer.
Whether it is wanting to pay it forward or uphold the traditions and excellence of Canisius, our committee members have found infinite reasons why they supported Canisius Fund 150 and will encourage others to do the same.

"Canisius has afforded me an abundance of opportunities since I set foot on campus. Knowing that funds raised allow current students to carry out their dreams and goals, and support them in doing so, is tremendous. When it comes to giving back to the Canisius community, the idea to pay forward my gratitude goes without question. Griffs stand together and I'm honored to be one."

“I am so passionate about the work I get to do every day in the nonprofit world, so I give back to my alma mater because I know I would not be where I am today without the mentoring, internships and holistic education I received while at Canisius.”

“It would be cliché to say that I have chosen to give back to Canisius because I want those who follow me to have the same experiences that I had. Of course we all want this for our successors. The reason I have chosen to donate to Canisius Fund 150 is because it upholds the experiences and education that defines Canisius University.”
