BUFFALO, NY – Michael J. Pardales, PhD, dean of the School of Education and Human Services, announces that Nancy Wellenzohn, EdD, was named assistant dean for program quality, undergraduate affairs, and director of accreditation for the School.
Wellenzohn’s new responsibilities include collaboration with faculty to develop and maintain curriculum that adheres to state standards and meets students’ needs, coordination of the accreditation process and advisement and administration of undergraduate affairs for the School of Education and Human Services.
Previously assistant director and instructor in the Educational Administration Programs, Wellenzohn will continue to serve in these capacities. She also previously served as a graduate admissions representative since 2005.
Prior to coming to Canisius, Wellenzohn served as a teacher and administrator in public secondary schools in New York, Michigan, and Illinois.
She earned a doctor of education in educational administration and a master of business administration degree in marketing from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a
bachelor of science degree in secondary education from the State University of New York College at Oswego.
