BUFFALO, NY – The Canisius University Alumni Association will present itsDistinguished Alumni Award to four graduates of the college, during ceremonies on Saturday, November 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the college’s Montante Cultural Center. Presented annually, the Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes Canisius graduates who have distinguished themselves as leaders in their chosen professions. The 2011 Distinguished Alumni recipients are:
David M. Borowski ’79, director of new products in the Finance Division of Freddie Mac and founder of the Flicker of Hope Foundation;
Peter D. Farstad ’80, chief administrative officer of Lifesource;
Karen J. Freeman ’83, retired chief operating officer of Biologics Inc; and
Charles E. Moran Jr. ’72, president and chief operating officer of Delaware North Companies Inc.
