Emily Schreiber ’21 could not be happier to be a Golden Griffin. But it almost didn’t happen. Without the scholarship support that made Canisius an incredibly affordable option for Emily, she would not have been able to attend the college.
Now that Emily is living and studying at 2001 Main Street, she has had incredible opportunities, academically and professionally.
An accounting major, Emily says she is privileged to study in one of the country’s best accounting programs. She notes the education she receives is not only of the highest caliber but also allows her to hone her leadership skills.
Emily is in a leadership role in AKPsi, the college’s professional business fraternity. In this capacity, Emily has worked on incredible projects to give her real-world experience, help her grow as a professional and leader, and shape a network of professionals with her who she can call on for advice.
