BUFFALO, NY – Canisius University has named Aimee Larson MPAS, PA-C, to build and direct the college’s graduate program in physician assistant studies.
She comes to Canisius after working as a physician assistant in a number of healthcare facilities and as a clinical preceptor in the Physician Assistant program at D’Youville College.
Larson holds a bachelor’s degree in health services administration from the University of Phoenix and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physician assistant studies from D’Youville College. She also served eight years in active duty service as a combat medic in the United States Air Force.
Canisius University is one of 28 Jesuit universities in the nation and the premier private university in Western New York.
