BUFFALO, NY – Kathleen B. Davis is the new vice president for enrollment management at Canisius University. As a member of the college’s senior management team, Davis provides leadership for undergraduate and graduate recruitment, retention and student financial aid. She is also responsible for leading the implementation of the college’s comprehensive enrollment management plan. Davis assumed the position on June 1, 2014.
Davis has more than a decade of experience in higher education. She comes to Canisius from St. Joseph’s College where she served as dean of admissions. During Davis’ tenure she collaborated on a new student financial aid matrix which resulted in a 12 percent increase in fall 2012 applications to the college. In addition, St. Joseph’s saw a 6.5 percent increase in applications and a seven percent increase in deposits in fall 2013. Prior to St. Joseph’s, Davis was director of graduate admission at St. John’s University, and associate dean of admission at New York University’s Polytechnic School of Engineering.
Davis holds an MBA from Clarkson University and a BS in business administration from Russell Sage College.
