Thomas Banchich

Professor Banchich's teaching reflects his training in classical languages, history, and philosophy. He emphasizes command and careful analysis of various types of evidence, an appreciation of a range of methodologies that may be applied to that evidence, and an understanding of interpretive traditions from antiquity to the present with respect to that evidence. He is especially interested in the worldwide reception of Greek and Roman culture throughout history.
